Nice post! Thanks for sharing this. I would like also to share about one of the most overlooked ways to drive traffic to your website. That is offline advertising. It is like I’ve had great luck with postcards, display ads, classified ads and recently radio advertising, which I am finding very interesting for driving qualified leads to my business.

@melai: I didn't know about at Smith's Kitchen before. It sounded like a cool gaming site. If you purchase OIOpublisher you won't regret it. Either through here or through the special coupon in Entrecard. But you wouldn't have to purchase it to buy advertising on EC-enabled ad slots.

@bloggista: It does open your Ad slot to more potential advertisers within the Entrecard system. Not much for real cash not unless Entrecard launches their credit exchange. Compared to purchasing Ads on the Entrecard widget, I'd rather spend my credits on a system where the receiving end actually gets majority of the credits paid.

@Jaypee: you won't regret installing OIOpublisher that's for sure @Michael: have you installed the latest build? 2.04 I think... I also encountered the same problem on the previous version when I tried buying on my own site.

I’m still having problems with the plug-in..

It charges me readers 15ec instead of 15 x 200ec (my EC value set per $)

Advertising on OIOpublisher turns out to be cheaper than placing an ad through the Entrecard widget plus the fact that the website owner gets paid 87.5% of that (Entrecard tax is 12.5%)

I also have OIO publisher on my blog but I haven’t implemented it yet. I’ll probably do it when I have my new theme. Anyways, regarding your question, I might give it a try. But I’ll make sure that the site/blog I buy an ad from would be worth the credits I spend it on.
