For the past 30 minutes or so Twitter has been offline and so far there has been no official report on what is happening. The Twitter API server is also reporting itself as unavailable on the Twitter tools, Hootsuite and Tweetdeck interfaces.
Ever since Archon Digital created a Facebook Fan Page several months ago, it was only this December 2009 that I decided to put that Fan Box widget up on the sidebar just to see how it goes as a replacement to my Blogcatalog and MyBlogLog widgets which I removed after launching version 5. After a month of keeping a Facebook Fan Box widget for Archon Digital’s Facebook Fan Page, we decided to remove the clunky javascript altogether and replace it with an image resembling the same “Become a Fan” button.
