USS John McCain to Intercept North Korean Ship

Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) is set to intercept the North Korean flagged ship as it leaves the Chinese coast. The military has been tracking the vessel for the past few days since it left a North Korean port last Wednesday according to a senior U.S. military source.

The United States reportedly deployed anti-missile defenses around Hawaii as intelligence reports revealed that North Korea is aiming its most advanced ballistic missile toward the U.S. islands this coming July which will add to an already high tension situation around the region.
