Archon is now a Daywalker

Nocturnal people like Archon have lived 80% of their lives in the secluded confines of the cold night where their minds are more active, creative and responsive. Every single artwork, process, device and innovation were somehow all forged during these dark wee hours of the night up to early morning.

Tough Choices and Keeping Calm; Feels Good to be Pinoy

Tough Choices and Keeping Calm; Feels Good to be Pinoy

Friday here is like Sunday to the rest of the world and I was walking home after going to the grocery and sending some money home over through Western Union at the mall’s Al Ansari exchange. Walking at night in Sharjah is generally peaceful as it is not like back home when you just knew you had to take extra precaution for anything that might come up. Read More »

Christmas in Sharjah and Manila via Webcam

Christmas in Sharjah and Manila via Webcam

After the webcam session with the people at home in my folks place, where I got to have some time to see the kids and check how everything is going, I took a cab to Corniche St. and went to Hardee’s and grabbed myself a decent sandwich. Malu Fernandez is My Tita

Malu Fernandez is My Tita

Yep, that’s for real, I am the nephew of a very lovely person named Malu Fernandez. My aunt’s reputation though, is nowhere near the vilified persona much less the body mass (BMI) of the much hated, ex-People Asia writer. My aunt instead is an angel busy with making the world a much better place.

My aunt… an angel busy with making the world a much better place.

I just read an article on joanjoyce‘s blog and wanting to make a comment, I immediately jumped right in. But when I noticed that I was already typing away nearly three paragraphs worth of comments, I instead decided to make this into a full-pledged post.

Malu Fernandez (the writer, not my aunt) has come up with yet another article which we think would cause another stir within the Pinoy blogosphere. Read More »
