After one or almost a year and-a-half, I’m using the Sony A6000 again.
Still feeling a little separation anxiety for not having my everyday camera with me, I went and met up with my brother to get my Sony A6000 which has been with him since last year. It was weird finding the camera a little too tiny and light for my hands even though this was my first ‘proper’ camera from 2014.
The A6000 lacks a microphone jack so I can’t use the Rode VideoMicro on this setup and will have to improvise how I’d record audio. For now, I could use my earphones and record audio from my iPhone and just sync in post. In the future, I’ll get myself a Zoom H1 and a proper lavalier mic.
