Down with the flu.
It started with the runny nose on Friday afternoon, then the sneezing by evening and by Sunday I was coughing like a dog gone mad with the collar on a little too tight.
Even while feeling really sick, I still took the kids this Monday to school through Uber and by the time I got off the car, the Uber driver was coughing as well. I had to cancel meetings for Monday and Tuesday and had to rest.
The doctor presecribed some antibiotics and cough medicine, so hopefully I can show up today for work.
