This is my lousy attempt at trying to live blog my migration from Jekyll to WordPress. Please bear with me, apologies for the 404s.
June 14, 2016, 6:30amI am at the moment migrating my site back from Jekyll into WordPress. You may encounter some dead links throughout the site as I am still choosing which parts of the site to retain or let go.
June 14, 2016, 12:47pmAutomating the process of re-importing old WordPress posts (XML) or the RSS feed of my Jekyll site is turning out to be too impractical and would require me to go over each post. So, I’ve decided to just re-post everything as I go. I’d also get to choose which entries make it to this latest iteration.
Made a quick plugin to incorporate Facebook Comments. I’m seriously considering moving my commenting over as it seems the integration between Facebook pages and comments on this post would help get more interaction going.
I’m also really disappointed with Disqus right now and I just added a switch to enable or disable it from appearing in posts. Basically Disqus is disabled by default except for posts where there were comments.
Added more posts.
Added posts from present and back up to July, 2014. I still have to add more posts from way back 2007.
